It sounds brill! Did the agent tell you it was a pig farm? You could do a bit of googling if you know the name of the farm.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere but in the countryside - you can't beat it

I can't get broadband (other than satellite, which is quite a bit dearer than regular) and we can't get a mobile signal - so it is good you can get both - those were the two downsides I would say about living quite remotely.

Did you take any pics on your visit? I think it must definitely be a contender because of the location and the fact they aren't put off by two big dogs and a baby. It took me ages to find the two rental properties I had over the years, because of the dogs and many properties said no small children too.

I agree with Rips! The Asda is just like a Tesco Express! I've not ever been in the Morrisons, but it doesn't look very big! I've always managed to park in the car park behind Morrisons, but I always go to the furthest end where there's unlikely to be a lot of cars, I'm not the best at parking!!

For Morrisons, I believe Ripon is the nearest to go and the only Asda I know of is in Harrogate!
