Oh LG, you have such a beautiful pack. I love the lurchers but little one Scout is beautiful too, even if she does represent your friend the hobbit. It must be lovely to have the space and room you have there to accommodate them all. Many years ago, I too had that space, in my younger married years. We had a refuge for all sorts of animals but alas it was only the animals holding us together and it was me doing all the work as well as working full time. I have some incredible memories of those we rescued and raised. Sheep, horses, ducks, geese, goat, kestrels, chickens, owls, magpie, fox, and a capuchin monkey, you name it, we spread our love around.
Enjoy your beautiful life.

Thanks Moyra, it's not just the ones we have at the moment, we have loved and lost many beautiful creatures over the years too. The years take their toll however and this crop of critters will not be added to, we will just have to stick with what we have got now. The only addition we will make is some more hens as our little flock is much reduced by old age and the local foxes. I remember as you do the younger days when we had heavyweight hunters and arabian horses, a herd of suckler cows and sheep aplenty. Now though we just feel that the best thing is to stick to what we can cope with. Bye fer now and take care of yourself.
