My OH is exactly the same, if someone quotes her a price she'll usually say 'yes, OK, when can you start?'

To be fair to her 'tho, before we were married she lived under a regime where there was no 'price elasticity' everything was made and priced by the government and you either accepted it or, if you objected, ended up in jail

OK, news flash.......OH has managed to get the price down to nearly that of the other quotes. He can start as soon as we have the building regs drawings and we have decided to get all the work done at once.Total chaos will reign as most rooms in the house will be affected but I am staying positive and thinking of the end product.....
