Lovely thing happened today

Hi,
well I am certain that Blackie knows and understands english. I was standing at the corner of the units in the kitchen and as I have told you before Blackie never leaves me, so he lay behind me, keeping me in the corner but I needed some more space to move and work in, so I just said "I need more space" really just thinking aloud, Blackie jumps up and moves to lie against the door.

Now how did he know what I wanted?

Ian

Excluding coincidence - I'm guessing the chances are Blackie just picked up on your vibes.

It may be an idea to try and train him as a disabled dog. They can be trained to do all sorts of things and I think Blackie would be a great candidate

He has done another good thing today, the lad who takes him on his morning fling, (he acts like a normal dog on this walk) is poorly this morning, in quite a lot of pain, so Blackie stayed beside him on his walk this morning even ignoring his doggy pals, he wouldn't leave his side.

He is very tuned into people.

And last night he had a good old time watching the neighbours three pedigree cats, he loves to chase them but he knew he hadn't to frighten them, he just sat there keeping an eye on them.

Some dogs are just extra special aren't they - you have a great friend and wonderful companion in Blackie!

Blackie is a real special boy Ian and I agree with Wofie think he would be very suitable to train as a dog for the disabled.
