Me and my big mouth...

Apparently there is a demon in my head, between my eyes and my mouth, that is determined to get me thrown in nick...

I was shopping for Cheap Soup in Aldi today, when I spotted a Police Officer, also engaged in the purchace of goods and chattels. I was surprised to see him there, given the *low rent* aspect of Aldi, and may have raised an eyebrow as I passed him.

At the check-out queue a short while later I was joined by the self same police officer.

"Excuse me, but you seemed to be shocked to see me, sir. Weren't up to anything suspicious, I take it? You've nothing on you, for example, that could cause both of us endless paperwork?* [raises eyebrow]

"Oh, no, I was just surprised to see you in Aldi...seemed a bit unusual for a police officer, is all" I replied. All well and good. But the Officer couldn't let it go, could he?

"So, where *should* I be shopping?"

And I swear, before I could even *think* of stopping...

"PC World, idiot!"

Luckily the queue, and he, burst out laughing....

he had good sence of humour then ill bet he tell his mates
