thank you, sometimes I am so amazed by them, with their zest for life, especially Zoe whom we have no right to have ever seen any forgiveness from her for what was done to her... yet she is now, 7 years after being rescued, one of the happiest, funniest dogs I know. they have such spirit

that is such a nice thing to say! thank you. I agree, Zoe has very compelling eyes. It's one of the reasons I was drawn to adopt her. They shine with life most of the time now, but not so very long ago, all we saw was apprehension and shadows.... we still get glimpses of that fear through her huge, expressive, soulful eyes, shadows, minor panic, but it never lasts long... I've never been able to capture her zest for life before, not like that. I LOVE that pic of my angel.
