Bongo causes a stir...

Out for a walk with some friends this afternoon, when we were all totally humiliated by a huuuge boxer dog coming over to lick Bongo's bits. He was shortly joined by what looked like a staffy/greyhound cross who just wouldn't leave us alone. Both dogs' owners appeared somewhat embarassed, and swore blind that they usually come when called. Then on the way back, a boxer bitch came over, showing great interest in the pup

She's also been a bit weird at home the last few days, like sulking with Chris and cuddling up to me, unusual sleeping patterns and so on...?

Do we think Bongo's developing hormones?

She's only 5.5 months She's still such a baby, but I guess it really varies from breed to breed.

What ages have your wheatens come in Sarah?

Have to agree with the others - she is about to come in or is in season. Getting to be a big girl.

Sorry i must have missed this earlier, erm i think lottie was about 6/7 months when she came into season Like you said it varies in breeds/individual dogs. It may be possilble that bongo has an infection as this would cause the same kinda reaction in the other dogs. Her behaviour does sound like shes coming into season though, i would just keep a very close eye on her, if she has any discharge thats not blood then i would pop her to the vets
