Dirty Mongrel!

Now, it's just a 'thing' me and a friend of mine from ringcraft always say to our dogs, when they are being less than 'proper' we call them mongrels, such as "Stop that you silly mongrel", etc, it was just a running joke for a while. (Obviously no offence to mongrels, I have one myself )

Anyway, I was out with just Maddy today, doing a bit of training with her on her own, and she picked up some unknown object and started to eat it, being the unsavory creature she is, so I shouted, "LEAVE THAT YOU DIRTY MONGREL!", just as some passer by interupted, "Oh is she a mongrel, I didn't think she looked like anything pedigree!"

I didn't even correct him I just laughed! My own fault really!

On that note, my best friend managed to persude some halfwit customer (we were at his market stall at the time) that she was a rare silver dobermann, he bought the whole story aswell :smt043

I call Bongo my grubby mongrel any time she covers herself in yoghurt, or sniffs at poos, or even when she's being particularly cute I don't think anybody would raise an eyebrow, as nobody seems to think she's a pedigree anything
