Mobile phone camera advice please

I have a digital camera but it is too bulky to carry around all the time so I am looking at a new mobile phone with a good camera. Would anyone be able to advise me on what to look for in order to get one that takes decent pics?

The number of pixels. The higher the better.

Would 3 megapixels be enough?

My mobile phone has a 3.2 megapixel camera and takes really good pictures - as long as it's not dark, or needs the flash!

Daylight pics are great.
Dark pictures (even with the flash) are very grainy!

I would only really use it in daylight. I always take my mobile with me on walks just in case as when we walk often there is no-one about. I feel I am missing out on good pics because I am forever forgetting my camera.

I would say it's fine then
I broke my digi cam, so have been using my mobile phone cam for ages now, no one seems to be able to tell the difference!

I've had a look and it seems very good. But it is not on the o2 site and I really need to get an o2 phone because it will reduce my o2 broadband bill. Also I'm not a huge user of my mobile so I prefer pay and go.
