Strange behaviour

Not sure if this should be strange dog behaiour or owner behaviour.

Popped to a friends today, a christening tomorrow and all hands on deck. Anyhow she needed to go round to her brothers to collect something. I drove her round waited outside in the car then she came out and said her brother would help "we were moving setting up tables." He wouldn't be a moment he was just taking the dog out...to get his shoes....baffled well I was it appears they have a Jack Russell, and she steals their shoes when they want them back they haev to take her for a walk and someone then removes the shoes from her bed if they go to get them when she's in she bites them to retrieve the shoes they take her for a walk. Not sure who is better trained the dog who gets regular walks or the humans who put up with it.....Nowt stranger than folks.
