Working Cockers aren't stocky at all, well all the ones I;ve seen haven't been, they've been a lot finer boned and considerably more athletic.

There is one at my club, she`s a smashing little girl, absolutely loves her agility
She was a very shy velcro dog when she first came but once she got into it her confidence has come one beautifully, it`s done her the world of good

Thanks for the replies and the links.
I think the Working cockers look nicers than the show cockers but thats just my personal opinion.
My brother in law has a working cocker and she is very muscly and solid - very lively, so good with my son and their baby daughter.

Not that I'm biased or anything but I personally prefer the show type.....two of my pups went on to do agility and are both doing really well with it too!
