Cutting a Feed

My latest pup simply refuses to drop his third feed of the day and just have 2 like all the others. Have tried reducing the 3rd meal and increasing the others, this is what I have done before, but with this pup it is not working. Any ideas welcome.

You've got it, in his dog crate Best trick to date is getting his teeth locked across the bars, his new teeth, not any old milk teeth but his best going to shows teeth, and then squealing like a stuck pig.

Well got him down to about 10 kibbles but he is still demanding that 3rd meal - anyone else any ideas. Think this one is a very determined eating machine - must have been a Lab in an earlier life.

You must have a hungry pup

Star just did not finish her middle feed in the afternoon when she was ready to cut it out. I just increased the other two slightly and offered her a few biscuits for a while instead.

Sorry I cant help

Feed my others twice a day, morning and early evening and the feed I want to cut is the last thing at night. He starts to look for it about a hour after his early evening meal and continues to run to the kitchen every time I move until he has been given it. Would cut out the early evening and feed them all late if I could persuade the others that it was not 5.30, and therefore as I am not feeding them I must be out to kill them by starvation

Instead of giving kibble, I give my dogs a dried fish skin from Fish4 dogs, it is crunchy and they love it, or give a bone shaped biscuit, it just gives the dog something to chew on when they go to bed.
