Ben the agility star!!!A wee brag

I am so proud of my wee man
2nd ever agility comp and our 1st outside 2 day event

the weather was totaly stonking!!

We are in grade 2 because my amazing little dog won out of grade 1 in his v first show

So this weekend he has only gone and done it again!! winning a grade 2 agility and a grade 2 jumping course and a 3rd and a 5th as well! what a weekend
I also put us in for the Olympia grade 1-7 heat - and the little chap only got one fault on his weaves (difficult having long jump then weaves) and a time fault - but he did great in a difficult course

Only a couple of bugging low points
- Having to wait 4 hours after my classes finnished to find out what our places were - not great when you are trying to keep a dog cool
and our first run today we had a lovely clear and then they realised that the long jump was too short so made us run again and we got an E!!

Thank goodness for sun cream! my pale and interesting scottish skin would have been piller box red by now!!

Well done Ben!! gulp! 2 shows and now we are in grade 3!!

Thats amazing! Well done Ben! Have you thought of getting Ben a cooling coat for those hot long summer shows. There are several on the market that do a good job.

Woohoo, way to go Ben it's an amazing feeling winning out isn't it you must be very proud of him

I can't believe you had to wait for 4 hours for the presentation though that's a very long time

I agree with muttzrule about the cool coat, we have one for Jack and they are amazing, you put your hand under it and they are lovely and cool under it, we wouldn't be without ours, that for sure, we also have a couple of fans for him as well

Well done!!!
I have a silver reflective coat that Bertie used to wear when he was competing for hot days, I also have 2 reflective sheets to put over my car and a fan that fixes on the cages. I love my car because the tailgate door has a window that drops as well as the 4 door windows, so allowing plenty of ventilation for the dogs.
