Only one of mine ever spoke, that was my cockatiel, he would say hello non stop until you looked at him and when you did he would whistle pop goes the weasel. That stopped when he was moved in with the gang of budgie nutcases.

Stormey i know what you mean, we now own 19 parrots and i,m after another, am working on hubby

And i thought i was bad with 8 budgies, 1 cockatiel and 2 zebra finches. Two of my budgies came from the local school that were found in the playground, 1 from the corner shop, the owner said he had got him and it was being attacked by his other, 1 was found on a building site. I often wondered how they knew i kept them.

yes we often get people knocking on the door asking us to take in animals
but then you can hear our parrots for miles when they all start
