Freedom of the Seas

After hearing on the news that "Freedom of the Seas" would be down at Southampton Docks this weekend, we had to go and take a look!!!

To be honest I have never seen a cruise liner for real, only in glossy magazines.

What a fantastic sight it was, the size of the thing is absolutely amazing, and really has the wow factor!

It is 160,000 Gross Tonnage and can carry 3600 people, apparently on board is a ice skating rink and a rock climbing wall.... off to see the cost now!!!

The prices aren't bad at all, especially not for a Caribbean cruise

The other half?!
Cruises really aren't as expensive as people think. We are by no means 'rich', but we have been on 2 cruises....a 17 night Caribbean cruise, and a 7 night Med cruise.
No more expensive than any other holiday we have been on!
Actually, my honeymoon for 14 nights cost more than the Caribbean cruise!

lol
I would recommend a cruise to everyone!
I am soo sea sick, but being on a big ship doesn't affect me as they have stabalisers.
My Mum hates water, but loves cruises lol

hi guys

I am really annoyed now as I was supposed to be on that ship this weekend !!! I am a travel agent and was down for the launch party which was two nights on board all expenses paid - unfortunately due to personal reasons i couldnt attend !! How jealous am I now.

And just to back up what heather says - cruises are not that expensive and Royal caribbean are fantastic and offer amazing ships !! If anyone would like a price for a wee holiday on a cruise let me know as its one of my specialist subjects !!!!
