YORKSHIRE TERRIERThis breed is noted for it's intelligence and is really a big dog in a small package. Nothing wimpy here as long as their owners don't pamper them too much. If they are well trained and treated like a dog along with good care, you have a dedicated companion for life. ( their life average 10-16 yrs) Small ears and a silk coat is a recessive gene so it is not an easy job to breed but with knowledge of their history(pedigree (s) ) it can be done. The major health problem in the breed is liver shunt and we are working hard to eliminate it.
