Walks in highlands

Hi stay in Inverness but wondering if anyone could reccomend a good walk in the surronding areas. Any good suggestions of lochs to go to or anywhere where theres water so the dog can jump in as he loves to. Also would be willing to drive a fair bit for a good day out.
thanks

Hi!
There are plenty of places for you to go Have you been to Aviemore? If you are willing to go as far as Aviemore (prob around an hours drive, give or take) its well worth it! I love Aviemore, a cute wee town with some fab outdoor shops. What we usually do there is wonder along the town, get some munch from Tesco and then drive down the road to Loch Morlich. There's some lovely spots to park car on waters edge of Loch. And you can also drive half way up mountain, so amazing views!

Loch Morlich

Frozen Loch Morlich!

View from car park half way up mountain, just a wee drive from Loch M

You've also got Loch Ness

Hope this helps!
