Toilet Training

Hi I have a bull mastiff puppy that is 8 1/2 months old, he is fully toilet trained through the day but when we come down in the morning he has messed, he isn't letting us know in the night he needs to go out. Also he sometimes goes upstairs and wees on our bed it is always mt side never my husbands is it something directed at me or an i reading to much into it. any advice on what we can do would be a great help.

When you say he is fully toilet trained what do you mean? Do you wait for him to tell you when he needs to go or do you tell him when to go?

Does he have free access outside during the day?

Does he toilet on cue?

What time do you go to bed?

What are his feeding times?

ps if you close your bedroom door, he can't toilet on your bed.

He tells us and we put him out before we go out and before bed, my husband goes to bed about midnight, he's fed about 5pm, we does close our door but having 4 children it sometimes gets left open!
