It's funny how quickly you get used to their size. Our dane is 37 1/2" at the shoulders and after spending time with him and then seeing a Golden Retriever or a Lab... it feels like we're looking at a little dog... LOL

I remember one day I was walking Max, my hubby was a couple of feet ahead of me and turned round and looked at us and said 'Max is really big', I replied 'have you only just noticed that?' I agree you need to look at them in relation to another dog or person and then you really appreciate the size.

I love his socks!
