How to stop Bruno licking the baby ?

hi all

I am trying to find a way to discourage bruno from licking the baby as he always catches him in the face !

i obviously would like to do this sooner than later but dont want him to think of the baby in a negative way - any tips?

No idea - Loki does it too but I'm reluctant to stop it for the same reasons.

If it's any consolation we've had this from day 1 and it doesn't seem to have harmed her .

Hmm, you can't really cover babies in chili-sauce or bitter spray, can you?

Could you distract him with a squeaky toy as he goes in for the lick?

see to be honest I am not that bothered - they will be in to far dirtier things once they start crawling but he loves ears etc and licks away - and for luca's visiting friends its a bit hard to stop him doin it !!!

Ah yeah I guess other mums aren't so keen . It is a tough one - I was always reluctant to make a scene so I try to distract Loki and just put my hand over the baby's mouth but he still does itnow - for instance if we come in with her in the car seat she's a sitting duck for his loving licks .

That's happened with my other two when they were babies, and now to our baby George whose 6 months.

They always seem to manage to lick just as they are opening there mouths too.

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do - just keep those wet wipes handy.
