Hi
Im a bit new to this site, but saw this thread.

My dog has addisons Disease and drug induced cushings.
He is now 9 yrs old and was diagnosed eventually whenhe was 18mths old. He was initailly put on preds (steriods) and later was put on flourinef. He wa sput on preds initailly as he is unusual that he wasnt producing the steriods. About 2 years ago he got quite poorly and his regular 6 mth blood tests showed his liver enzymes had gone through the roof! He went to liverpool uni and they found nodules on his liver. To cut a long story short he was taken off steriods as he had now got drug induced cushings, from years of steriod treatment. He was just given flourinef ans is now back to normal as far as an addisonion dog goes! We started homeopathic treatment for Halle about 5-6 years ago an we have had tremendous success!! Initailly he had hardly any function in his endocrine gland now it is working far more than it was. We feel that if we hadnttried homeopathy he wouldnt have been able to come off the steriods successfully. His coat went back to that of a normal dog and he was much better at stressful situations.

Never thought that Halle would reach 9!!!
