Run free my Evie ...:'( (Guinea Pig)

Well what I feared this morning has come right.. again.. My darling guinea pig Evie, has this morning gone to the Bridge, to be with her sister and friends.. I had a feeling, when she dropped alot of weight in such a short space of time... she had a stomach tumour I nursed her through a really bad jaw abscess two years ago, it was touch and go then, and now my poor baby has died from this...

I feel so bereft, I have lost 5 piggies in such a short space of time, I know they were middle aged to elderly, but it is so sad, I also have alot of piggies, so this tends to happen sometimes.. But I am seriously considering now, having a rest from piggies, just looking after the ones I have now and let it be for awhile... I feel so sad

R.I.P my darling Evie, popcorn free at the Bridge sweetheart, remember I love you so much

So very sorry Claire, I know how much they mean to you and to lose so many in such a short space of time is devestating.

The only consolation is that they had a wonderful life with you, many you have rescued from dire circumstances and they possibly wouldn't have survived at all had you not been there for them. You have nursed so many of them through illnesses, lesser people would have given up on them, but not you.

I feel extremely honoured to have met these darlings before they left for the bridge.

Run free with your friends darling Evie xxx

(((Hugs Claire))) xx
