ward closure

the ward my gran is on has now been closed as there is an outbreak of the vomiting virus.....could have been us that took it in as the whole family had it last weekend.

am not going to stress myself out over this cos it could have come from the main hospital when patients have been transferred.

dont kno when i will get to see her again.....my brother flew in from usa for 24 hrs but wasnt allowed in. i sneaked in at lunchtime and got her to eat something but this is the last thing my gran will need.

Poor you, you're really having a bad time of it lately. I'm sure Nan will understand.
At least the ward is doing something about it though.

If we get a client with the bug, we have no choice but to go, and then go to visit all our other clients, so we're all keeping very vigilant for any signs of it at the mo. Plus we all wear gloves, aprons and use hand gel as standard so hopefully should be ok.
