Fingers crossed for good news Hevvur.

Not sure if it works for any benefits but my son and his partner had problems with their cat just before christmas and because they are on housing benefit they got £80 towards the final bill from the RSPCA.

I do know Tracey was saying there was some woman in there for about the third time claiming for vets bill for her dog and she was told that was her final claim. Might be worth looking into.

I know £80 will not be much in the scheme of things but I wonder if it depends on the illness, treatment, size of animal and they calculate a pecentage of the cost.
