I would like to say though, over the period of time that you have her, you have spoilt her, given her love, cuddle and hugged her,whispered word of love to her,told her how special she is, had a sneaky tipbit for her (without the boys knowing ) let her snuggle down nice and warm, and of course been there for her.


You have given your heart to her and thats what she has experienced from you. In return she has captured your heart and returned her love. All these things will be there till her day, but they will go with her too, and your memories of her will always last and be there for you

I don't know what to add Claire, you know how I feel and I am so thankful for the wonderful 14 months you and your parents have given my darling baby girl.

Thanks also to those who have sent me hugs too...they are very much appreciated and I am so grateful for Claire taking the time to keep me informed.

I know that Remy has been shown more love and affection in her short time with Claire and her family than some dogs have in a lifetime.

Thanks to you all, there are too many to individually quote, but your support means the world to us I keep sobbing as I can't bear the fact that our brave duchess is facing a losing battle and is going through something she really does not deserve I always wanted her to pass in her sleep, an aged old Duchess, who was running in her dreams and kept running, never waking... that would be fit for my baby, not this... not death via a syringe... I'm sorry, I just love her so so much and my heart is breaking with the fact that very soon I will never see her smiley face when I get up in the morning, never get spoken to or given a present when I come home from work or when I have been out.... She means the world to us and I don't want to lose her....

I am so very, very sorry to hear this devastating news.
