Hilarious Walk - honestly, these out of control dogs!

I am having trouble with my mobility today and didn't want to walk both dogs on my own so mum agreed to come with me so I could just walk Eddy and she'd take T.

We went to the park with a shallow lake where Takara likes to splash and paddle.

We noticed there was a toy near the water so mum set off down the brick slope towards the lake to get the toy to throw for Takara. She took her flip flops off part way down as they were hindering her somewhat but soon got stuck as it was too steep

She called to Takara to 'get it!' meaning the toy but Takara saw the flip flops just as mum called to her

Next thing, mum's stranded barefoot on the edge of the lake and Takara has one flip flop in the middle of the lake!!

Of course, I was of no use whatsoever as I had collapsed laughing at this point and mum, who had got up the bank and picked up her other flip flop by this point was trying to persuade Takara to bring the first one back!

I'm so glad mum came with me this morning

don't worry - she did get her sandal back in one piece

I just can't believe I didn't get it on video (although I don't think I'd have been able to stay still long enough!)
