Missy gains a fan!

Paul and I and Missy went out this morning to a little village just for a drive and a walk in the country.

We found a playing field where Missy had a good off lead run and afterwards we walked down to the village post office and store to buy some liquids for us hot humans!

A little girl and her mum came along.
The little girl was full of excitement when she saw Missy, so I asked, "would you like to say hello?"

She looked up at her mum, who said yes, and then we let Missy walk up to her and get a big fuss. "she is just like grandad's dog!" Her mum nodded agreement

As they walked away, I heard her mum say "What a friendly dog!"

If they could have seen my face, they'd have seen a grin as wide as the ocean.
That's my Missy, a people friendly dog

I LOVE that......we often have children stroking our 3....they love children, it makes life great doesn't it.

No wonder you were smiling, all the more special because the woman would have had no idea just how proud that comment made you.

That's lovely, and all the better for reading about a little girl with a mum who doesn't shy away from dogs as if they are going to eat them. Obviously a doggy family if Grandad has a dog like that.... well not quite like Missy, there is only one Missy terrier.
