My dog collapsed with a heart attack

whilst out walking i turned round and saw my mini pin on his side making little squeky noises. When i picked him up he ws all floppy and his eyes were glazed, i honestly thought he was dying. I carried him home and he appears to be ok now, although the other dog is barking at him. I am trying to get through to the vets but damn phone isnt working and i do not have a car (vet is 10k away)

I have a minpin. They are amazing little dogs so I don't think this would be exhaustion if there wasn't an underlying problem. Have to say in your place I would already be in a taxi heading for that vet 10km away.

Frankly, I don't know how anyone could give any sort of diagnosis over the internet as it could be so many things. You don't know if he ate something (if he was behind you). I guess you are looking for some reassurance but the only person who can give you that right now is a vet.

Lacey sweetie - OP has said they do not own a car. They are trying to 'get through' by phone, not car. And OP has said the phone isn't working! OMG!

Small dogs - like small babies - can go downhill fast when there are health problems. This dog needs to see a vet.

Nah you aren't really I guess, like me and others, when you read about a worrying problem like this you just tend to cut to the chase and start typing even if only to 'reassure' or offer sympathy.

I do hope OP returns to give us an update. I sometimes wonder why I read dog 'problems' on here when I angst enough about 'real life outside my window' dog problems where I live. Obviously I like to give myself MORE stuff to worry about!
