Are you keeping her name?
Im still so stumped on it that I think its going to stick. Especially with her being shared adoption it might help avoid confusion with the different vets

Haha all my girls love that bed, its a great buy

She's been very sleepy since her dinner, she's on tramadol so expect it must make her very sleepy poor girl. She seems very comfortable though

Aw she's gorgeous How lovely of you to take an older dog on ...... well done I would definitely say she has Saluki in her, but whatever she has she is a pretty little lass.

Everything crossed that she settles well in to you household.

Oh how lovely. I am SO happy Aggie found you and look at her in your lovely home. She must think she is in heaven.

Thanks for posting these - one of my favourite recent 'doggy stories'.

Oh and I LOVE that 'bone shaped' rug! I want it!

Lovely old girlie

In the third pic down she looks just like my old girl, she was a Saluki cross.

Those big brown eyes could melt a heart a mile away

Thank you all she's a gorgeous girl thats for sure. Slept all night been up for her meds and back to bed for a couple more hours snoozing, and no messes at all. I feel for her though, I'm having to give her a lot of meds and ear drops. she's very wary of hands near her face which is fine Im happy to do what she's comfortable with but its not ideal having to give her ear drops twice a day and one of her tablets is too big to hide in food I had to put it at the back of her throat. Really feel for the old girl. Trying to make it as positive an experience for her as I can and giving her her breakfast and dinner straight after all her tablets and drops are out the way. Been doing a little training too giving her a treat when my hand goes near her ears and she doesn't react so she doesnt think every time my hands near her she's going to get ear drops. Poor girl won't know whats happening to her. Found out she was picked up a stray on christmas eve

She is beautiful.

Some people who have a deaf dog use a small blue light to communicate with their dog, white light doesn't work as well because it can dazzle.

Your doing great with her Laura-Anne
Try not to think about the meds too much,it's all for her own good and she'll get used to it. Everything must seem so strange to her right now.Imagine she'll soon get accustomed to the luxury she now finds herself inbe amazing to see the true Agatha come out of her shell

Oh My GOODNESS, I want, I want, I waaaaaaaant your beautiful Agatha What a dear, little treasure she is, and I'm so very glad she has found you.

Fancy somebody dumping a gorgeous girl like this on ANY day He'll get his Karma for this, just like Agatha has got when she found somebody like you.

I do hope she might get over this deafness with those ear drops maybe. Could be a deep seated infection going on in there. Can you not cut those big pills in half so that you can disguise them in something nice? Maybe they can't be cut, but good luck with all that medication. Bless her heart
