:smt008 well i got my tubes tied, cut, and burned off i just had my 3rd kid 11/16/2004 and i just turned 21 on 11/25/2004 so im finished i started when i was 14 i was really young. sometimes i get sad because i didnt want to get it done i wanted 1 more when i turned 25 but i had to get it im to fertle i would of ended up pregnant and thats not cool so i guess im pretty much finished with kids by no choice!

I got pregnant on the mini pill 19yrs ago,


I got sterlised 17yrs ago, no problems but anyone I know who has been sterlised ended up having a hystrectamy( excuse the spelling), including myself.
If I had the choice now I would`nt get sterlised, I did regret getting it done.

I have had the coil for almost 4yrs as doctors wont sterlise until I am at least 35.

My first hubbie had a vasectomy and after it one of his erm, how to put it delicately................dangly spheres swelled up to the size of a grapefruit and turned a nice shade of purple When I remarried I was sterilised and recovered within a few days. But now at 43 I am having horrible menopausal symtoms and my periods have become horrendous after years of no trouble at all. I wish second hubby had had the snip instead, but I made the mistake of telling him about first hubby's experience long before we were thinking of sterlisation. Unfortunately, second hubby remembered this information, which is a miracle in itself cos he never remembers anything else I tell him

So I'd go with the make your OH do it camp
