Loki and seizures

Thanks for all the support and kind wishes for Loki and these fits on the Daily - I do appreciate it.

This cluster has been particularly bad as he's had 18 fits in around 53 hours and he's never had that may before. When they didn't stop at 10, I began to get really worried. Having said that, I am reasonably happy that he is responsive and knows who we are because I've seen him oblivious after lots of fits in the past.

I hope Loki is all right and pulls through this okay. I'm sorry I have not commented before, but I truly meant to. It's always such a bad time when they're not doing well. I'm glad he's responding and not confused, it's such a sad sight.

I'm dealing with Nigredo and his poor leg ATM, and everyone is stressed out about it so I know how it is. He just tried to get up and could not (was laying on the right leg, cannot use it) and he looked up at me like WHY??? and it's heartbreaking.

Thank you - I didn't want to keep hijacking the Daily with seizure talk.

I think he might be. It's been two hours since the last one and he's sleeping peacefully so I am hopeful. I can only put this episode down to cutting out one of the bromide pills so we will need to add it back into the meds.

Don't worry Myra, you have a huge amount on your plate with your Nigredo and neighbour. I'm really sorry about Nigredo's leg.

Bless the poor boy. I truly admire how you manage to stay calm and positive when he has these clusters, I am sure this is a great help to Loki. I pray that it's over now and he will be back to his happy self soon.
