Back from Las Vegas

Hello All.
We arrived back from Las Vegas yesterday morning, after a fabulous week. The weather was in the 100's most days, we walked our feet off. We visited most Hotels, Gran Canyon Helicopter Tour, Celine Dion at Caesars Palace, Jubilee Show, etc etc.
It was non stop, but the most exciting place we had ever visited. We stayed at Bally's a lovely room which had a fantastic view of the strip, a lovely pool, and delicious restaurents.
We went downtown to see the laser show at Freemont Street which was awesome. The old strip, Luxor, Golden Nugget etc was great to visit but pleased we stayed where we did.

I took hundreds of photo's but here are a few for you.
Some of the hotels are unbelievable, with themes in them. Gondala rides inside the Venetian Hotel, water features and fountians in Bellagio's, Dolphins at the Mirage, and some of the most exquisite shops.

My highlight has to be the helicopter trip over the Gran Canyon... I was in tears! we got picked up outside our hotel like celebs in a Limo. If you have never been you have just got to experience it for yourself, the place is unreal.
Am on a real high, apart from being totally shattered as it was non stop. Flights were with Virgin and were really comfortable - even though 10 hours.

wow .....................................next time the men can stay at home with the dogs and we will go

My hubby just got back yesterday from Vegas. He was there for five days on a stag. Needless to say he didn't do as much sight seeing but he hasn't stopped talking about the Venice recreation inside a hotel.
Thanks for the pics now I know what he was talking about. It looks amazing. He has said he is bringing me there.

Ken sleeps from the time he gets on the plane until the time he gets off. Great for him. Not so great if you are his travelling companion!!

the internal gondola rides inside the venetian with the fake sky just cracked me up !!!!
