so i presume they take the same qty of blood? then filter it like you said then return it.
will look into it when they come round again.

I was a donor in the UK when I lived there, but unfortunately in Ireland if you lived in the UK between certain dates (which is a big chunk of my life) you are banned from doing so, regardless of lifestyle or circumstances.

I'm not sure what they are afraid of but it's a great shame.

I give blood in England but cant give it in Ire as I have had Jaundice(sp), I cant give blood for a few more months as I had a tattoo during the summer. My mum has a rare blood type and never gives blood which annoys me I feel that anyone who can give blood should.

I would love to be a blood donor but I have had a blood transfusion before a certain date (can’t remember when) and they don’t let me give blood (can’t remember why! lol) so im only 15 and im bu*gered already!! Lol

Would love to be a donor, but I have had cancer, and have had about 12 blood transfusions, so can't donate
