Luke's Favorite place :) Pic overload :P

I finally managed to get some good pictures of Luke and Kayla out on the trails that he loves so much. The last two times we went out, my stupid camera died on me.
These woods are close to where we used to live. Luke pretty much grew up in them, and although we hadn't been back there for at least a year or more, the first time we did go back, about a month ago....he remembered it perfectly! His whole demeanor changed, almost as if he'd become a young pup again. It kinda made me emotional the first two times we went lol.
It's so peaceful there, unlike here, where we constantly have to be on guard for loose aggressive dogs, people by the dozens rushing at us from all directions. This is our happy place and I'm going to try and get him there at least once a week from now on.

Thanks guys. Yeah Phil, I miss living close to it. We used to go there almost everyday when he was a pup. When it warms up, I plan on spending the day out there...taking a big picnic lunch for the both of us, some blankets to lay on. It's like a sigh of relief for both of us as soon we we step on the trail. We know there's not gonna be any drunks, kids rushing us, loose aggressive dogs wanting to tear him apart. We're just really free there. He saw a family of deer the last time we went. They were waiting to go into the woods as we were coming out. He would have loved to go "make friends" with them but alas, they weren't interested. I told him that, he didn't seem to believe me lol

I love walks like that. I also saw my first St. Parti Poodle last month. I've seen a toy before, the woman was so impressed that I knew she was a Poodle and not a X spaniel

Luke is gorgeous as ever and Kayla's a doll.
