yuck, I hate thet people dont let their dogs play because they are supposed to be handler focused!
Aww what a shame. I love to see the dogs playing together.

Totaly agree, its about fun and that looks like what you guys are having

and I have to say even tho Ben plays with many many dogs, and used to play at the end of agility class he has never yet (touch wood) left a ring or been distracted by other dogs when he is playing agility

We did train at a place that didn't encourage the dogs to have fun. I had lots of problems with Sacha leaving the ring to go and sniff in agility competions and more problems with Torin the dog I do obedience with not coping with how busy the shows are and totally losing focus whilst competing.

Since we moved training clubs last year things are totally different. We have to travel 2 1/2 hours but it is so worth it. All my dogs are loving it and coming on so well. We are training with excellent instructors and all the dogs have fun. I cannot fault how Callan is starting and wish I had moved long ago

Sounds perfect it is so worth looking around more to find the right club.
and I think totaly that lots of dogs find it really hard not to play with the other dogs and stopping them makes it even more exciting to try and play

some people take things far too seriously, some of my best runs poles go flying but me and Ben are just grinning at each other the whole way around

and dont even ask about Mia, she loves it, and she is getting so much better but she has had moments of making up her own obsticles - like running ontop of the tunnel or underneath the dogwalk jumping the supports - bless her she is a little special
