Definately, shows how dogs that are well trained can behave and could be of such use to anyone with a problem in water. I spent most of the day talking to people about the dogs, there history etc. I also enlightened a few parents who seem to think its ok for the child to wrap there arms around a 60kg dog without asking first, its a bit of a bug bearer of mine. I always say, "i know she is fine, but the time you would learn is if she took a chunk from you, its always better to ask the owner for permission, just to make sure".

Well done all of you, that is a huge amount and as C&D said a really positive message for GP.

You are quite right there K - Our two always seem to attract attention when we're in town and the kids want to hug them but like you say we're not talking a big teddy bear here, we're talking about a living creature with feelings and who can have 'off' days just like us humans.
