Colliewobbles! He he, that made me chuckle!
On a more serious note, I love watching sheep dogs work. Sadly no one does it round here anymore, unless I go back to Weardale and stand like the local nutter watching a farmers dog herd sheep!
I used to love that thing on a sunday on the bbc, what was it called again?

That's it! Thank you! That would've drove me nuts!
Sadly many of the sheep dogs round here are chained up most of the day and as a result turn into very anti-social dogs.
A true "sheepdog" has an amazing life, but the ones a round here I worry for.

They're kept on dairy farms and not really needed most of the day. A local dairy farm in the village has had a sheep dog for many many years, in fact the same dog attacked my last dog (now past away in 1999!) and is generally quite agressive. Much to my bemusement they've got a new one now and because this one can't be trusted not to leave the premises, it's chained to the wall. Goes nuts every time I walk past and sets the older one off!
I just feel so sorry for this dog, it may well be fed and watered and have shelter but to me this is no life for a sheepdog!
