Hello,
We were originally feeding Barney Beta by Purina. We changed to Burns Lamb and Brown rice about four weeks ago but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. Been to Leeds today for some allergy tests, a skin scrape and blood tests. We have been given a treatment for scabies which the vet said may be a cause for the sore skin. Have to wait a couple of weeks for the results. Our own vet didn't tell us that we had to stop the piriton two weeks before we had prick test for allergies so we have to go back in a couple of weeks again when the Piriton is out of his system.

Hi John,
don't want to interfere with your treatment but we did have a problem with one of our labs having hot spots.
We found that cutting the hair away around the area allowing the air to get to it really helps then applying aloe vera gel.
Collodial silver is also another natural safe product which acts as a natural antibiotic to help prevent secondry infections.
Just wondered if any of this would help until you got your results back
