Poor guinea-pig

My guinea-pigs have been loose in a large run ,I usually go in there a few times a day ,I noticed Star one of the guinea's eyes looked like somthing on a horror film ,I cleaned him up and got him into the vets ,he must have hurt his eye in a squabble with one of the other guinea-pigs
he got a injection from the vets today and has to go back tomorrow to have an op to remove his eye ,the vet warned me that operations are very risky for guinea-pigs ,but there is no other option as his eye is too badly damaged
I just hope he is going to survive the op
keep your fingers crossed for him tomorrow

Aww poor little piggy I'm sure he will be fine though because a lot of guinea pigs are neutered now so that they can live with the opposite sex and they seem to come through the operation ok - I will keep my fingers crossed and all our piggys (7 of them ) will cross their feet too

Yes I'm wondering how he has gone on as well - I hope he is okay. He's probably snuggled up in the hay sleeping off the anaestetic.
