We have loads of grey one's here. They climb into the walnut tree, steal the walnuts, and run along the roof of the house with it in thier mouths. More often than not, they end up dropping the walnut into the courtyard, normally just missing either me or the dogs

Between the squirrels and the parakeets, there won't be anything left on the tree
Will try Wolfie They move fast though

You are so lucky to have a walnut tree, it costs me a fortune buying them for the parrots. And you have Parakeets as well, you could get some pictures of them

Yes we have a couple of little colonies around here. There is a holiday village in the woods across the valley and they have lots, perhaps thats where these ones have come from?
They are so cute but they are rapid, I'm gonna have to swing through the trees to get pics of them

Update on the Squirrels....... when I got home tonight and had a look at the feeder all the walnuts and hazelnuts that I put in this morning were gone so it looks like they have used the feeder today . Neighbours aren't in so I can't ask whether they saw them though.
