Dog cant compete an agility show do you inform organisers?

My dog was meant to be competing in the casual class at paws in the park but has a poorly paw so unable to compete as gotta wear head collar for 7 days i may still go to look at stalls is it common to inform uka of your intention to know longer compete with your dog.i may borrow a friends for ring experience if i can find one.
otherwise lost £40+ as still on my account and i owe the money they said to pay at secretarys tent on day.we were only dog entered one day in casual class and one of 2/3 the next day.

With a KC show I wouldnt inform them - but then again if you are the only dog in 1 run then yes I would prob tell them so they dont waste their time

You will probably be ok not contacting them, UKA accept 'pay on the day' at most shows and normally this makes a higher entry. Looking at the Ringplan for Paws in the Park, there are 2-4 dogs entered in advance in the casual classes.

If it were a WT it would aggrovate the judge and organisers not be informed of scratching, not sure with agility but would assume that a courtesy phone call would go down well
