The term slips my mind ,but coco has started taking her frustration out on oz when she cant get what she wants ,,''re direction''??

Yep---absolute sense.

Happening to me a bit at the moment as well. Benj is going in at whatever is closest if he can't get to another dog walking past.

I am hoping as he learns more self control and I learn more about him and how to manage him I can either stop it or avoid it happening.

Anyone got any ideas?

Mojo started it with Tess, but I sent her in the kitchen for time out everytime, now she just stands and yaps at her....now I need to stop that...watch this space

today was after she said hello to a dog ,i walked on and she still wanted to interact with the dog , i would not let her and she started yapping/growling at oz instead ...

Yep----thats my scenario as well.

Numbers of times at the rescue kennels people got a nip because the dogs they were walking past other dogs in kennels couldn't get at the target dog.

That was in the old makeshift premises---brand spanking new ones have eliminated that problem by better design.

Yes - a friend is getting this when one of her terriers gets over-excited. She puts it on the lead till it calms down, or distracts. We had a previous little dog that did this and solved it by letting him carry a ball round as he was soothed by that.

Thats one of my ideas but it needs a lot of work at the moment to make him want to keep the ball in his mouth.

Lots of years to go yet
