There are some great rescue centre, have you tried them. If it was me, I'd go down that road, and see if my dogs were happy with it, by introducing them etc., Good luck, mind you I think you very brave already having three of the breeds that you have. We have three, but think that I'd think twice about having 4....mind you thats because all the training falls on me. XX

Hello, yes we have been to a few, mostly with dogs who don't get along with children or other dogs tho.
But we are also going to check some more out this week.

Well I've got six and would never entertain bring into the house another dog if I have one already that was under 12 months minimum.

They are two main reasons for this.

Firstly any dog that is under 12 months is still very much a puppy and is learning something new all the time, in life as well as training. and the last thing you want to do is introduce a new dog/bitch where you know very little about it at best into the household, and then find that they just don't get on and set your existing pup back in his socialisation skills.

Secondly have you given any consideration as to how you are going to walk and control 4 dogs as well as the annual costs involved. i.e.: food and vet bills for starters.

Sorry but I truely believe that you should wait at least another 6 months before you even start to consider getting another dog.

Colin beat me to it...

I agree with everything he said..

YOU need to bond with the pup and the pup needs to bond with you..before you bring in another dog or pup that will need your attention aswell

Colin - I totally agree with you when you mention the age of the SBT pup and bringing in another dog may not be ideal in that instance- but you dont know the circumstances with regards to walking and certainly not with regards to the financial aspect and I kind of dont think it was there to be questioned ???????????
