The gang - my pups :)

Just thought I would introduce my dogs here.

Firstly we have Skye, she is a Welsh Sheepdog bitch, 18 months old. She is from working dog lines, and her parents are both working sheepdogs. She is a wonderful dog, incredibly intelligent and keen to work. We have started agility training at home with Skye with our own equipment and are looking for a good agility club to start attending proper classes.

Being silly - she is a real clown.

Then, Shiloh, Skye's full brother from a later litter, he is 10 months old and neutered. He is a brilliant boy, so different from Skye it's unreal, but he is faultless on commands and a complete Mummy's boy.
He is a bobtailed Welsh Sheepdog. He has just started agility training at home and will be enrolled when he reaches a year old.

Then Ruby, she's a Rottweiler x JRT and is 9 months old. She's the most chilled out and wonderful dog ever. She's very clever, and pretty obedient too. She is the softest pup you could ever wish to meet and everyone falls in love.

Having a cuddle with Skye

Then we have Bear, who is a Pyrenean Mountain Dog of unknown age, we think he's around 4. He's a really sweet boy who just has a few issues we are working with.

Thin boy exploring when he first arrived

And having a rest

And now looking happier and a bit chunkier

They're a brilliant group of dogs and I'm so proud of all of them.

Thanks guys

I'm very proud of my babies. To be honest, Welsh Sheepdogs are one of those breeds that not too many people know about, but they're just fabulous.

They have all the drive of the BC for work, all the focus, but are more chilled out in the home and better suited to family life IMO. They are characterised by their 'loose-eyed' herding, so I'm told. My girl has herded cattle before (brilliantly, I must say - the farmer got one of Shiloh's littermates because she was so impressed with Skye).

They are stunning for distance commands and both have done wait at 100m or more from 6 months old. I have nothing but good things to say about the breed.

Shiloh is particularly rare in being bobtailed - there don't seem to be many bobtails left - certainly haven't seen them much in the WSD society stud book.

Ruby is just a gem too - JRT/Rottie should be a disaster but she's the complete opposite!

Bear is a big old cuddly bum and I'm already so proud of how far he has come!

Lovely photos there. Looks like Skye was full of milk in her upside down pic, was she having a phantom?

What a beautiful boy! Gotta love tris too - I haven't seen many others about. Where did you have him from?

She had been having ongoing problems with unexplained bleeding in between seasons so she'd just been spayed (if you look really carefully, you can see the wound). She did look full of milk though - it soon went down after her spay though.
