Harvey went shopping today !

Had to share this with you all. I have a male that likes shopping!!!!!!!
I had to go out this afternoon, to pick up a stair gate from Argos and some other bits and bobs. I put Harvey in the pet carrier that Inca kindly gave us when we brought Harvey home (its brilliant).
Took Harvey out and carried him into Argos, and the fuss he got was unbelievable, a real crowd puller....
Then I went into Next, next door to Argos (out of town) and put him in a plastic basket and carried him around, he was like a magnet to the ladies..all were arrr and oohing. Then decided to transfer shopping into a trolley, so put the boy in there. He was soooo well behaved and really enjoyed the outing. Wasn't he a good boy ?

aw bless!

When mum goes to the bank she takes T with her and gets loads of attention, unfortunately I can't take her shopping as I simply can't carry a near full sized dally around in a shopping basket! I wonder if we could get away with putting her in a trolley... lol

I think I'd get permanently barred Takara wouldn't want to stay in the trolley!

I suppose, if I could teach her to do a cute face on command, it might work!

We tried to take Poppy shopping when we first got her, but nobody was having any of it other than Comet when we went to buy a new TV. B&Q garden centre wouldn't let her in, even though OH was carrying her and we told them she was in-between jabs so wouldn't be going on the ground anyway. MFI didn't want her, nor did Clinton Cards, nor WH Smith. Of course we took her into Pets @ Home for her to see and hear the birds in the avary and to see the rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters etc.

When we went into Comet we asked if it was OK to bring her in, said we'll be carrying her because she's in-between jabs so can't go on the ground and the manager just said "Yeah, course, no problem" and made a huge fuss of her.

I got a bit upset with some people's attitudes, especially as we were carrying her and she wouldn't be on the ground. Can't really see what problem it would have caused in B&Q garden centre?!!
