Ive grown up with GSDs and my first one when i was little was called Lacey.

Then came Candy and now at the moment we have a Lola!

My friends say we seem to have a thing for stripper names (oo-er, having never met a stripper, i wouldnt know!) but it wasnt deliberate, honest!

Dexter (Lab) = after the main character in the book 'Darkly Dreaming Dexter' by Jeff Lindsay. Dexter is a 'dark' character; my Dexter is a dark (black!) dog. It was going to be Dexter or Cash (as in Johnny Cash, the man in black...so the dog in black!). The next black male dog I get will be named 'Cash'.

Bo (Slovakian RHP) was going to be 'Indie' but I didn't think the name suited her. Her mum was 'Violet' so I thought of the character Violet Beauregard from Charlie the Chocolate Factory; one of my favorite old films. So, she became Bo! I chose to spell it 'Bo' instead of 'Beau' as I thought the latter was the more masculine way of spelling them name.

Tilly (Yorkshire Terrier) was named that because we liked the name. I call her Tiny Tills. It just suits her.

Well, that's simple- Gypsy because that's what she was called at the kennels and we decided not to change it, seeing as she was used to it. We did consider amber though because it seemed a pretty name.
