I do know of a most fantastic Kennel that specialise in Staffords, the only down side is they are in Wales. They only have six kennels and it is set in 12 actres of natural land.

I left two there once when I was doing a show in the caravan and the week before my bitch came into season. The lady who owns it is a champ show judge for Staffords.

I would suggest you contact Scottish SBT rescue, and ask for their advice as I know they are very active and will most likely know of a place.

I personally would prefer my Staffords stay in a good kennel because no way would I want them in someones house or walked by someone who I did not know very well.
The risk is just too high.

There is also a local kennel to me that is very good so they are about.
Thanks the kennels in Wales sounds fantastic!! Thanks also for thetip about Scottish SBT rescue I may drop them an email too

I know of someone who is fantastic and loves staffies unfortunately she works so wouldnt be able to do this but she would have been perfect.

Its frustrating, i however woudl never allow an unknown dog ( any breed) to come and stay for any longer period of time in my house with young kids around, so if he feels this way why will he accept some and not all dogs?? very foolish man really, as does that mean he lets his guard down with the other more "gentle " breeds !! idiot. lucky escape from this guy by the sounds of things,.

On that subject did anyone see the Neighbourhood watched program on last night, featuring a guy with two staffies he kept in the back garden in a makeshift kennels.. dogs looked bored and were charging and rushing into the neighbouring garden when they escaped and had made the neighbours afraid to go out in their own garden for a year !!! They wouldnt let there little girl play out etc.

The dog warden housing assoc got involved etc and the dogs were taken by police for assessment. The man then built a proper fence on his garden, although ridiculous that it took this for him to do that, what irritated me was the neighbours were giving it, "oh you dont see labradors attacking children reports in the papers do you" blsh blah blah..... THATS EXACTLY THE PROBLEM complete media prejudice
