My two have very similar ones and seem to like them!
You can make 'custom' sizes with the perfect fit ones, they have measuring guides and I believe they ship worldwide
Fleece lined? Looks a bit too warm. It's going to be routinely 90 + degrees and I think fleece might overheat him.

The thing is, I only see it in medium on the site. I'm not sure if medium will fit him. I expect for him to grow out of it, but I'd like it to last at least a few months.

Also, and this is (VERY) embarrassing... I have never measured any of my dogs. I'm not sure how I can look at collars and tell if they fit, and I always take my dog into the pet shop for harnesses, muzzles, and everything else fitted.
I wouldn't consider them very 'secure' for a bigger, stronger dog. Read the REVIEWS. One states that MED size fits her Chihuahua.

They do run small in size since my chihuahua that is about 9lbs & usually wears a small in clothes. The medium was a perfect fit
and

In my opinion, I don't know if this would be a good harness vest for large dogs as it does not come down very far on the dog's chest. I do know however, it is good for small dogs up to at least 8-9lbs.
If MED fits a chi - well?

A good seller will always put a size chart on their pages too. And apparently this seller does as many reviewers refer to it.

I used to buy these for Bella when she was still growing. She outgrew them all. I wish I could still buy one like it that fits as I liked them for their breathability and comfort - no webbing straps and buckles under her 'armpits'

Nigredo seems to be a BIG pup/dog. The seller's own size guide says for LARGE:

neck 13-15"
chest 19-23"

That's Bella's size. And needs to be a bit bigger for the 'chest'.

He's not big yet, he's probably right at 40 lbs now, though I'm not sure anymore. I'm almost sure he'd not need a size L because Jade is bigger than him and a size L fits her about perfectly.

But as I see now, different brands cater to different sized dogs. In the small breed world, 25 pounds might be considered large. Anyway, I guess I have to take him into PetSmart and have him fitted for a normal harness like Jade has.

I wanted him to have a cute one... oh well! Having one that fits is much more important.

Well it clearly says the measurements for LARGE are
neck 13-15"
chest 19-23"

So just take a tape measure to him.

How do you measure a dogs chest? Measuring their neck sounds easy enough. Do you go behind their forelegs... or what?

I've never measured a dog before, after 16+ years of dog ownership lol. I think I have a tape measure around here somewhere.

Deepest part of the chest. Where the measurement is biggest. Usually shows you in a diagram on measuring charts where to measure. And they usually give examples of breeds they will fit as a guide.

In fact if you google 'measure your dog for a harness' you will get videos and all sorts. I just have and there's loads of them.
