Do you walk your dog if there is a thunder storm.

I was thinking about this today as we were out for our evening walk. There's been a lot of thunder and lightening round today and fortunately for me, Monty is unphased by it. I, on the other hand, hate thunder and lightening and will avoid going out in it at all costs.

So what about you guys:

1. Do you still walk your dog during a storm?

2. If so, do you still let them off lead or keep them on incase they do get scared and make a run for it?

I wouldn't deliberately go out in a thunder storm but if I was out in one I'd probably put Stumpy on a lead as she gets scared. Hoki couldn't care less so she's fine.

Chester couldn't care less what the weather is doing so long as he gets his walk! I don't like to let him off when there's a storm though for the simple reason that if some reason he freaks out, it's never happened but hey better safe than sorry,or we come across another dog that is a bit iffy with the weather he stays safe.

If we were out we'd just carry on with our walk as normal, nothing much fazes them or me.

It's daft because thunder doesn't phase Monty but if it's raining then he's the biggest wuss going!

No way! I can't even get Molly out the door when it's drizzling, let alone if there's a storm!

It wouldn't bother me but Ted hates it so i wouldn't be able to go out, if we are out and it started i would pop him on the lead otherwise he might make a run for it!
