Horsing around

With the bad weather we have had of late (either lots of rain or snow! ) I haven't had a chance to ride Marilla yet, and will probably wait until the weather improves a bit.

I had her in the other day though and took a few pics while doing the usual mundane sort of jobs like mucking out their shed (they have access to it 24/7), picking out feet, and giving her a light groom (although don't want to take too much of her fluffy hair away just yet, as I am sure we still have plenty of winter to come).

Here are just a few pics. I will try and get some more photogenic/scenic ones when the weather improves

And of course the dogs and Ben wanted to get in on the act too

Awww - what lovely pictures. I wish my kids were little again!

Both ponies look in excellent condition

How old is Marilla (seeing as she is still very dappled)?

Thanks. I always try to get the kids involved, especially as Strom is supposed to be theirs.

She's lovely Kirsty. You are being very restrained. If she was mine I would find it hard not to be out and about on her despite the weather.
